jerking, bucking, and breaking my neck >_<

hey i got a 93 lude with an h23 and it just randomly started to buck real bad under a slight load for example when i drive at about 45 mph and slighty press the gas it will start to sputter real bad a backfire and the only way that i can get it to stop is letting go of the gas or flooring it and it goes away until i slighty hit the gas again and it also throws the cel on reading 43 which is fuel supply what could it be??
ive already searched through this entire forum and could not find anyone else with the same prob anybody got some ideas??

LOL, it could be anything. Mine was a bad O2 sensor (just had to unhook the front O2 sensor connector for the problem to go away).

I have an OBD-II 96 lude so I can get live data but I don't know how you would get that data on a 93. Live data will let you know how the sensors are doing and if the engine is running lean or rich.

Basically here are the possible causes
- ignition (sparks, dissy, coils, wires etc)
- exhaust (clogged cat)
- fuel supply (filter, pressure regulator, pump, clogged injector or lines)
- intake (filter, MAF sensor, TP sensor)
- cooling (CT sensor)
- emissions (EGR, PCV)
- engine (valves, timing, compression etc)

There are many threads on this.

Basically, it's either some problem with a part above; or the ECU is getting bad sensor data and thinking it's good sensor data and messing with timing and fuel injection to compensate for that and messing **** up worse.

but i have tried the fuel filter, dissy cap, rotor button, spark plugs and spark plug wires but yea ill try unhooking the 02 sensor and see what i get with that
i havea 14 month old baby and i dont want him getting whiplash when this thing goes off bucking ya know

Yea dude same problem here! 93 prelude so 4ws stupid car bucks, my whole engine got rebuilt, new sparkplugs and wires new dissy so it's not any of them, I'll try the 02 sensor but won't my
Car run like sh** if I unplug it because it tells the engine how much fuel it needs to add or not add?
