x2, and honestly you wouldnt probably want to drive an evo or sti in the winter since you wouldnt want to beat on it and risk getting salt on it etc...

Snow tires + FWD = Good for snow.

You get a sti or evo trust me you'll be back at square 1.

99% chance they'll come with summer tires and you'll have the same amount of grip that you do with your lude, and the brembo brakes would be the same distance on ice as you have now.

Get an old POS Subaru or something. Preludes already have a hard time fighting rust as it is, much less being beaten with salty slushy snow.

Re: after the last couple weeks its time to sell it.......

Really? The one time it actually snowed last year.. Or the year before.. I drove the lude over to my friends house and The only vehicles on the road were trucks that were spinning.. The prelude handled awesome in the snow and I have 18's with neogens.. However I was shoveling snow with the front bumper

Down here we have to worry about ice in the winter.. It will either snow and then melt the next afternoon and then turn into ice or it will rain all day then turn to ice at night..
Either way salt sucks!!

I don't really know what cars are good in the snow

Re: after the last couple weeks its time to sell it.......

hey now... I LIVE and WOrk in Boise, Idaho and My lude is my daily driver. there is very few places i cannot take my whip.

GOOD Tires or of the utmost importance... I am using a directional tread that has been siped and am quite impressed with its traction abilities.

My Only problem was gettin high centered on some snow (in my driveway) that had been plowed into a pile the length of the drive.

Driving in the snow is not as bad as most think it is, IF you drive Smart. too many people "overdrive" their cars and THAT is where you have problems.
If the loose nut behind the wheel would learn to pay attention to ALL of their senses, there would not be so many accidents.

btw... lemme know when you get here. This is a great little town.

hell yea well basically i posted my car for sale but im asking a **** ton. so basically if i get no interest im going to keep it. i think with snow tires i would be fine. im also concerned with driving from boise to my home in washington the snow could be a factor cuz thats a rough drive as it is. oh and im moving there for school. GO BOISE STATE!!

omfg i love aspen white. i think i like it almost as much as my WRB, especially since those are like the rarest colors and you never see them.
its kinda hard to find any unmodified STi's anymore, so if it is mod'ed make sure you know whats done to it.

i love love loveeeee my STi
