Fuel Pump Fiasco

I have had this prelude for about two months now and it has worked perfectly. Yesterday, though, it just flat out wouldnt start. The starter was cranking so I knew it wasnt the battery. We were kinda thinking that it might have been clogged injectors. I didn't want to rip it apart and try and diagnose it my self without all those fancy electronic tools. (Especially when autocross is next week!) So I took it to the Honda dealership. $100 later, they told me that it was a bad fuel pump and that they would put a new one in for $900. That price was outrageous, I purchased a new pump for $100 and will put it in myself tomorrow. I will update later with more pictures. Any helpful hints or comments are appreciated.

My broken baby

New Pump

*Update
Four hours of work and still no luck.
I had no problems getting the pump out, took the backseats and here is the entry area:

Pulled pump:

Two Pumps:

The new one isn't pulling fuel. The tank is full so all I can think of is that I have it wired backwards or I have a bad pump. I will check the wiring tomorrow!

Re: Fuel Pump Fiasco

I feel like a dumb ass! The wires were backwards so the pump was pushing instead of pulling. Everything works.
Great to be driving the prelude, way faster than my dad's auto-civic.

Re: Fuel Pump Fiasco

Just curious. Do you have to take the backseats out to the fuel pump? Can you access them from the trunk only?
