Tri-Y headers have a "JDM style" collector, meaning a test pipe for a USDM Prelude won't work. Also, the collector is like 6 inches shorter. Tri-Y headers sit stupid low Tri-y headers leak at the slip joints unless you a) weld them or b) beat the sh!t out of them. N1 exhausts are loud, no matter what the brand. Those "cats" you see are resonators. Did I miss anything?

Re: Exhaust time!
That helps. Would you suggest something other then tri-y? I've been told any other header is a waste of money for it wont provide any real gain. I'm not spending more then $400-600 on it.
The test pipe is included in the purchase of the tri-y, does that make a difference? Will I need to buy an aftermarket cat with the header and "full exhaust" system? |

Yes, that's different. If you want to keep a cat, then yes.

Re: Exhaust time!
I plan to get a tune eventually, it's on the end of my list though.
Are there any other headers that pair up to the hytech design that are of higher quality then that of ebay? |

Re: Exhaust time!
