Re: performance questions

you shouldnt need them with the f22 unless you're putting crazy alot of power down. theyre probably good for 350-400hp
http://www.preludezone.com/4th-gen-9...hp-275wtq.html
buy this guys turbo set up, he ran it on stock internals and was perfectly fine

Re: performance questions

thirty five grand will get you anything you ever wanted. no disrespect to preludes, but i would buy a crazy truck. or crazier s4. but ya, if i were you, with that kind of money just put forth the extra money for better internals, and maybe rebuild the important bits, and buy yourself a nice turbo, after you swap h22.

excuse the double post. yes injectors and fuel pump, and intake and headers. and exhaust, and spark plugs and wires, and cam gears, and nice chip. and whatever else you can think of. are you trying to put all that money into it?

Re: performance questions

oh then that might be your way to go, wegnar would probly make it able to handle anything, but so would really good aftermarket parts. so its a toss up. but im sure it will beat his with your options and money.. you could make a crazy piece of machinery

Re: performance questions

There are soo many ways that you could go depending..

Your best friend right now is the internet and reading about what everyone else has done and seeing what floats your boat. You have the money to do whatcha'like so take your time and do it right, don't just spend to spend because you have a bunch of money to burn. Do you know what you like better as far as NA/Turbo? Talk to some mechanics that work on nothing but Honda's and Acura's and pick their brain's. Read up on honda-tech.com and do your homework. With the bottom end you have already you could buy one of the H22 heads for sale right here on these boards and begin a G series motor that you could boost through the roof!!! You could go all motor with a JDM H22 swap with an LSD tranny. I mean the worlds your oyster so start asking questions and get this party started..

If I had 35G to play with I'd get an H22 with H22 LSD transmission. Port and polish the head, machine and sleeve the block, new crankshaft, Skunk2 intake manifold, new injectors, AEM fuel rail, etc. Then boost the SH!T outta it.

Re: performance questions

35 g's can get you a killer turbo h22 build and you can see over 500+ hp. there are plenty of resources on the site, look them over and then shoot some questions our way

Read Ogsmakdade's build thread. Do everything he's done to his NA motor and then boost it.

Either swap in an H22 and keep it N/A

Or keep your F and boost it, and use the rest of the money to invest! lol

Re: performance questions

35000, id say get an 04-07 sti, then you would be able to smoke your friend already. then rebuild the motor, boost with a gt35r upgrade to 1000cc injectors, fmic, new fuel pump, fuel rail, all that ****... then you get this or even faster than that? lol

STi~ $15-20g
rebuild ~$5g
everything else~ $10g
