Icon2 h22a swap

as you may know from my previous posts, my swap is currently being shipped from hmotors. i am looking for opinions on what company to get the timing belt, balanceshaft belt and water pump from. i was thinking about either gates or greddy for the belts, or possibly goodyear gatorback(i had them in my h23). also what brand waterpump should i buy? can i get a stock replacement for the jdm h22a? im just looking for some input so i do thisa right the first time. thanks

Re: h22a swap

go with genuine honda parts
the belts.......your choice of greddy or honda. It's not like your throwing down "serious pony's" to have to upgrade the belt

stock honda parts are the way to go when it comes to tune-ups or belt changes imo

Re: h22a swap

you can get mounts from innovative or use the stock mounts. to do the swap you need the h22 engine, ecu, wiring harness(for 2 wires for vtec) and the header. you use your h23 harness and run the 2 vtec wires and thats basically it. search around there are a ton of threads on this topic
