Re: time to be a idiot... question about shift knob?

Well, I searched for shifts knobs for both the Prelude and the Fit and both come back with knobs with a 10x1.5 threading. So I would assume it should fit. Might want to wait for someone who has a more definite yes though before you order.

Re: time to be a idiot... question about shift knob?

yes, all hondas (and some other makes) have this size threading. i actually have it in my car right now. feels amazing. great shape. not too heavy nor too light

id go with this though
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mugen...item1e5f7a44b5

because it is quite a lot cheaper. its still legit. just not with the full pricetag and then some

Re: time to be a idiot... question about shift knob?

I have to say that it does look pretty bad a$$ but is it really worth $100? I mean u could get a greddy or a skunk wieghted knob for a 3rd of the price. I guess if u want the baller factor of having a mugen knob then ya but strictly performance based I think its a lil rediculous haha.

Re: time to be a idiot... question about shift knob?

I think they are worth $100

I've had a skunk2 one and I thought it was kinda small.. Plus the mugen has that bling factor you were talking about.. Lol

For me it's a style part not performance..

I've had my current weighted shift knob forever so I think if I keep the mugen knob for 4 years it only $25 a year lol

Re: time to be a idiot... question about shift knob?

At the same time that it is just a shift knob...that is a beautifully crafted price metal! If I were to buy a new shift knob I would certainly buy that one. Almost regardless of price. Its in my mind perfect. Font, size, hue of annodizing. mmmmm!

LMFAO. Quote of the day

This thread peaked my curiosity tho and I stumbled upon some weighted knobs that do custom engraving. I sent them an email to see if I can get a group buy possibility (For those interested of course) and it would have the prelude logo (in script) between the numbers. Shifter would look like this. I know it's not for everyone but I think it would be pretty sick. I can also check for dif colors if enough ppl are interested.

Shift Knob

Heres the specs:
# Titanium Construction
# 46mm Round Style
# Counter-Weighted (7oz/198g)
# Brushed or Polished/Mirrored Finish

Feed back? lol Sry don't mean to thread jack...but its pertinent to the OP lol. Like I said depending on what they say/interest I'll make a separate thread

Re: time to be a idiot... question about shift knob?

i really just want it for the bling factor plus its a genuine honda part not aftermarket. i like keeping my car factory but with factory upgrades from other cars lmao. i was looking at aftermarket one piece headlights as well but hell whats wrong with the original glass ones that wont turn yellow lol
