Accelleration chugging problem

So ever since i installed my new air intake my car does this wierd chugging thing sometimes. What will happen is you press on the gass in like 1st or 2nd gear and you accell forward then it stops and you keep pressing more and more then finally it thrusts you hard. Its quite dangerious on wet roads espicallily since i had bald tires in the front i need to replace. I am thinking it could possibly be dirty/clogged fuel injectors or somthing but it is intermittent. so I really have no clue. Any ideas?

What kinda of intake?
Did you hook the vacuum lines back up?
If you put the old intake back on, does it still do it?

Re: Accelleration chugging problem

I'd go to a junkyard and pickup a old intake to see if it fixes the problem tbh.
Other then that make sure all the vacuum lines are hooked up right
