Re: V6 to Prelude swap

lol @ the V4.

But isnt the v6 from the 2000/2001 accords a 3.0? It was in my 2000 accord and also in my 98 CL.....

and...I would have thought it wouldnt fit...BUT I've seen it swapped into a 4th gen accord...which has the SAME EXACT engine bay dimensions...so who knows..lol

o yea you right. teh 2000 v6 'cords (my screen-name ) were 3.0, whereas the 95-96 v6's were the 2.6's.

if an LS1 can fit in the 4th gen chassis, i'd assume damn-near anything can fit

no. 4th gen ludes (92-96) and 4th gen accords (90-93) have very similar engine bays. so if it fits in one of them, it'll most likely fit the other.

There was a thread on a different honda website (i forgot which one) where a guy put a Corvette V8 into it (only put a few mods) to fit the tranny in the right way. i mean he never finished it because it got to much. but it still fit =P
