Re: Corner lights to signal?

if ur original turn signal wires are still there, u can splice the headlight corners into that...just make sure u leave slack from the socket so u can reconnect them back to original once u get all ur turnsignals collected...

Re: Corner lights to signal?

yes, but make sure u use the one that stays on and blinks when u signal. cuz one stays on and blinks when u signal and the other is off until u signal. ur best bet from avoiding cutting too many lines is to run separate wires with 2 female clips...like the ones u would use for speakers...i cant remember if u can avoid this altogether...check to see first if the harness plugs that separates from behind the bulb base are interchangeable...if not, just cut the original headlight corner harness (with slack) and add a wire with the female speaker terminal clips...and instead of cutting ur alternate power source, just plug the females into the male clips inside the harness...then wrap with electrical tape...kinda like this...

front drvrside turn wires and fog harness

from left to right: fog harness, front turn that i did for a dual filament mod, side turn with black wires spliced for sidemarkers the headlight corners are not shown...if u look closely, instaed of cutting or splicing, i added wires with the female clips and inserted them inside the harness plug...ignore the 3 wires...ur only gonna do 2..hope this helps..

Re: Corner lights to signal?

depending on how low u are and what body kit u have, u shouldnt really need to take the bumper off...but it would be alot easier room wise...body kits should be very easy to remove...oem is a lil more extensive...if doable, just jack the car up to where u can have access to the wires and the speaker clips, u can get them at any auto store, radioshack or walmart...be sure to get ones that doesnt have a plastic casing like the white ones on the pics...get the ones that the metal is exposed...otherwise it wont fit in the harness...

Apologize for having this thread revived but as far as i know and based on my experience when the bulb burns out, your rear signals tends to blink faster and you can hear it blink faster as well. you can do yourself a favor and go to your local autopart store and ask them for a new bulb.
