clogged resonator?

ok so I have trying to get my rebuilt h22a1 running smoothly again and now it seems to be that my resonator is clogged. how do i go about unclogging it? can it be done or do i have to get a new resonator? its causing the car to hesitate during acceleration. any help? thanks.
