Door vent issue

What's up guys? Okay I'm not sure why I have this problem but when the ac is on full blast I feel no air whatsoever coming out jof the driver side door vents. It works like a charm on the passenger side. I know there open and everything but no air is com in through. Any ideas?

Re: Door vent issue

look under the steering column, make sure the tube is there connecting the HVAC to the door tube.

the fukers who installed my alarm took mine out, so when i want heat/air on my face, it blows directly on my feet

Re: Door vent issue

yeah, i was going to say make sure the duct is there. easiest way, shine a flashlight into the hole on the side of the dash and see if it shines through onto your carpet. im assuming if yours is missing you wouldnt know what to look for if you looked under the dash

Re: Door vent issue

yeah chances are its either the duct or you've got a rats nest blocking the way. the duct can simply be dislodged or completely missing. it just sort of sits in place without much holding it in. it slides over the opening on the right side of the drivers footwell and pops in on the left side. its located directly in front of your knees on the other side of the plastic panel
