Tuning question?

I am new to the Prelude when it comes to tuning, I have searched about this and still lost. Whats the best way to tune my car it is a H23a1 It has I/h/e and plugs and wires (more to come later). I'm use to my Dsm were I can run a afc, wideband, and Fpr to tune my car.So can someone help me with answers on how to tune my car and the website to get this parts.

Re: Tuning question?

first off, are you going to do any other engine work to the car? because if you are it will be a total waste to tune now. I/h/e won't really bring out much power. and plugs and wires do nothing

Re: Tuning question?

If you tune now, you'll just have to retune every time you change something. Just wait until you're done building the motor unless you don't mind spending a buttload of extra cash. As far as these "chips," they are just OEM P28 or P72 (or P05/P06 ECUs converted to P28s), chipped to accept PROM chips (EPROMS, EEPROMS, whatev). With PROMs, you can "burn" a new "tune" to the chip whenever you change something in the car. Some of the more popular tuning platforms for Hondas are: Hondata, Crome, eCtune, and Neptune. There are more but I can't think of any right now. Check these sites out for more info:

Redirection

Xenocron Tuning: Fuel Management and DIY Tuning Resource Center for Honda and Acura Performance - Hondata, eCtune, Neptune, Crome, TurboEdit, Uberdata

Phearable.net - Electronic Fuel Injection Tuning Solutions - Hondata, Neptune, Crome, Uberdata, Ectune, AEM, Honda Tuning, Widebands, Fuel Pumps, Intercoolers, Turbos, LS/VTEC, ECU Chipping, Chipped Ecus, P28
