Icon6 92-96 Honda Prelude JDM Fog Lights

Prelude jdm fog lights are so hard to find and the people who are selling them used $150+ new imported from Japan $240+ so expensive. I just find a 92-95 Civic jdm fog lights in eBay just for 50 dollars New. I want to know if i can fit them to my prelude. If someone know how to do please tell me thanks!

this is the link of the civic fog lights

Re: 92-96 Honda Prelude JDM Fog Lights

I say genuine is the only way to go. If you want a hack job go for it unless you have some serious skills. The beauty of the BB4 foglights is that they go right in. I had mine installed in no time. Everything should be there so its just plug and play. The yellow ones are most expensive. You could find some clear ones for less I'm sure.

Re: 92-96 Honda Prelude JDM Fog Lights

Ya, if someone could cleanly fit some Civic fogs in there I'd be all for it! I just don't think its gonna work being out bumper covers were made exactly to fit the BB2/4 ones. Never know what someone with some creative skill could do though..:).

Re: 92-96 Honda Prelude JDM Fog Lights

Yeah...our fogs our too expensive. If someone bought me a pair of those $50 ones, I would take my extra bumper and figure out how to make them work.

haha

That's what its all about...Patience. I.....didn't have any and paid quite a bit more for my yellow fogs, but I think it was worth it. Got two genuine switches, the relay, bezels, and the fogs.

Re: 92-96 Honda Prelude JDM Fog Lights

I don't see those fogs fitting... they're way too small and would look awkward anyway. The brackets also won't work.

But as far as the foggies .. I would say with a lil modification, then I wouldn't see why not.

Re: 92-96 Honda Prelude JDM Fog Lights

yea JDM stuff is expensive especially for the 4g prelude..

passwordjdm.com has both usdm and jdm ones for 150 and 250

o and if u find usdm and want them yellow just paint them with transparent paint (duplicolor metalcast yellow) that's wat I did they look jdm now

I asked to some sellers of those Civic fogs for the measurements but no one have it. The measurements are a big help to do some work with the bumper. But i think i will buy it Genuine but first i have to save some money cuz i have the car in the garage painting. :D

why would u paint the lenses? that will reduce its luminesinse. Just buy oyka yellow bulbs. that swhat i did. then u get crisp yellow color and no paint/loss of performance

Ya I hear of a lot of folks painting the lens with the transparent paint. Everyone seems to have good results.

I didn't feel like messing with it ha.

Seeing as your from Puerto Rico, and so am I, I knew a guy that had some foggies for sale and never found a buyer. He has a couple of goodies (fogs, koyo radiator, and more just don't remember). Where are you from?
