Cooling fan issue
I noticed today that my cooling fan is being temperamental and won't come on while the car is running. It only comes on after the car is shut off. I just wanna wire my fan so it is on with key f*** all the bulls*** lol some got some input for me

Re: Cooling fan issue
Are you sure it won't come on? The radiator fan is hooked to a thermoswitch; it only comes on when the coolant passing through the radiator reaches a certain temperature -- rarely runs while the car's moving. The second fan only comes on when the air con is running. Try turning on the air con -- both fans should come on at that point, so you'll know if it's getting power. If that's the case and the engine's not running hot, I wouldn't worry about rewiring it.

Re: Cooling fan issue
I don't have a/c anymore so there isn't a condensor fan in my car and I know how it works I just wanna be able to turn my key on and know that my fan is working cause it's on lol I think the black box by the ecu is bad which I'm not gonna piss with it. I just need to know the best/easiest way to wire my fan to be on with the key. My crx was wired that way I just don't know how it was done.

Re: Cooling fan issue
Fuse is good Lol that's the first thing you gotta check when it comes to wiring dilemmas

Re: Cooling fan issue
Not sure on exact wiring colors but a simple test with a meter could tell you what wires to use...If I'm not mistaken the fan is a simple two wire + - set up...just find the + wire when on and run that to an ignition wire source.
