quick advice ?

I have a 1993 Prelude si in fairly strong conditon, with only 120k on it shes considered new amoung the other preludes ive seen. recently my right rear strut has started to leak and i'm probably thinking of going aftermarket. i'm looking to spend about 700-1000 and looking to probably go for coil-overs, any suggestion would be great i'm pretty mechanically inclined so i would be doing it myself.

Re: quick advice ?

ive read a lot of good things about d2 and they are a 9001 iso standard company . you can get a full set of coilovers ( complete assembly no need to use any of your stock parts ) for around 900 .

Re: quick advice ?

yeah ive been hearing good things about that d2 system also, i just recently replaced my clutch with the zoom stage 4 ceramic kit. i'm going to be rebuilding my h23 into the h23/h22 frank in a month or so ,will the under 1000 coilovers hold there own , or should i look to spend a bit more ? i'm not trying to skimp out on the project in anyway , durability is probably what id be looking for over the actual race set ups.
