Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

I was doing a fuse box relocation and I wanted to extend the wires and that's what I did. Hooked it all up after and proceeded to move the car out of the garage. Turned the key, pressed my engine start button and NOTHING!!! It cranks over and over but not starting!!!

Checked fuel filter
checked fuel pump-$146.83 for a new pump
checked ICM in the dizzy- $52.10 new icm

there's no spark to any of the SP. I don't know WTF is going on. I'm just prayin it'll be fixed beforee Sat

Help me out guys I'm sooo cold

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

Are you sure you secured all the wires? It could be possible one of the connections came lose or two connections are touching. Even if I'm totally off and as wrong as possible, FREE BUMP!

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

Its gotta be in the area that you messed with. Recheck all your work over again. Check the main relay circuit and the transponder key circuit. Think those will both cause no spark.

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

Did you try checking all the fuses? You may have blown one while lengthening the wires. Check all of them to see if any are blown and make sure they are all tight in there and not falling out. I don't really know exactly what you did so thats all I can really say.

All I'm saying is that if it ran fine before you messed with it and after you were done it wont start........Its gotta be in that area where you did your handy work. Keep looking! You may want to get a wiring diagram and start checking wires for voltage and continuity through the fuse block.

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

All I did was extend the wires of those on the fusebox. The fuses all are tight on and none are popped. Where would I get a wiring diagram if you don't mind me askin? Btw thanks for the suggestions.

I have no spark
all electronic stuff works (headlights, radio, brakes, gauges, etc)
fuel system is good ( I smell gasoline that's why)

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

you can find service manuals online i found an old version but it still worked for every thing i need it to such as wiring diagrams. But since you didnt have spark you need to figure out were the powers going. Such as others have posted the car ran fine before figure out what down there had to do with the ignition circuit.

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

figured it out. The wire on the dizzy shorted as a matter of fact it was a neg. wire that touched some flowing positive. Ugh thanks Amit for all the advice and the dizzy btw the cap and rotors were bad that's why it didn't crank yesterday!!! So all i did was swap the ones I had to the dizzy u gave.

Btw you need to really get a hold of that seller. Even if he sold u the wrong item atleast let it be a working one!

could be that lengthening was just enough to increase the resistance one the wiring that youre not getting enough power now

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

you need to test the current of the wires maybe a bigger fuse is needed now due to the length otherwise check your map sensor

Re: Cranks but won't start!!! Ugh

also did you use the right guage wire? and also try putting a smaller fuse in that have too do with any of the engine cranking if it blows then your wiring caused a different current to be drawn to the wires. or the wrong guage in between the added length
