Icon5 Should I? It's knida tempting ...

Well, I've been looking around for weeks now for a prelude I could trade my Talon for or someone to buy mine but thats not going well. Today however I had an offer submitted to my on Mautofied.com. Tell me what you think. He said straight up trade.

1989 Toyota Supra Turbo

(Here is that ad)
1989 Toyota Supra Turbo, it's automatic, has 183,000 something miles on body, 20-30,000 on engine. The whole thing has been rebuilt all the way down to the turbo. Clean inside and out. Has like a year old paint job, brand new 16 inch rims and tires, cold air intake, exhaust, tinted windows, and a pioneer premier cd player. The car has all original interior, no rips, stains, fading, or anything. Also the fun part about the car is it's a targa top. The car does have a small oil leak, but going to fix, also a/c need recharged. It blows out but not all the way cold. Would really like to get something like a 240sx, 300zx, Maxima, something along those lines. All offeres will be looked at. No ATV's or Motorcycle trades though. Thanks!!!

Update: Sep, 08, 2010-Found out that it's not a oil leak, it's leaking from the power steering pump, so scratch it leaking oil. Had my dad and father-in-law check it out, and they use to be mechanics and they said it looked like it was leaking from the power steering pump, or reservoir.

Opinions?

I wouldn't. Autotragic is just bad news. I don't care what car it is lol.

this is true.
but if you could straight trade for it, and then some how pass it on to another person and get a lude after that with the money you earned, it could possibly work out.

but the autotragic is the ticking bomb that you would need to watch out for.

Re: Should I? It's knida tempting ...

I wouldnt do it just to trade it. U have to think the economy right now is in a recession. Ppl arent out spending money like they were anymore. If u like it and u wouldnt mind drivin it then go for it. Just realize that u may get stuck w/it. As for the car it looks pretty cherry. If mechanically its sound then its a good find (minus being auto). Im not sure how readily u could find a 5spd tranny to swap if u kept it. Check around. Good luck
