Cruise Control

Hey guys I'm going on a road trip soon and i would really like to be able to use my cruise control to save guess and save me some foot soreness.

So here's what happens:
The light on the cruise control button will turn on when i push it, but when i push the set button on the steering wheel, the cruise control button wont light up on the dash.
I know this is a problem in a lot of 4th gen ludes, and ive heard that there may be a leak in the vacuum hose from the cruise control, but i dont really know how to check it.
I have no idea what could be going on.
Please help.
Thanks!

Re: Cruise Control

Have you tested to see if the cruise control works? Or are just assuming it doesn't because the light doesn't come on?

Re: Cruise Control

first make sure the line/lines are actually hooked up, have you checked your fuse?

Re: Cruise Control

The light on mine only works sometimes, but my cruise control works fine. How fast where u goin when you tried to use it? Sounds like your switch might be going bad.
