Re: no spark need help

Icm is inside the dizzy. Probably not that as you are getting power to the coil. Have you tested the resistance between the terminals on the coil to see if it's bad?

Re: no spark need help

what is the resistance supposed to be at? if its not correct how would i go about fixing that? would a crank or cam sensor cause that. if so where are they on the motor

Re: no spark need help

If the resistance isn't right the coil is just bad and needs to be replaced.
Is it an f22b1 or f22b2?

B1 is primary winding resistance 0.45-0.55 ohms
Secondary 16.8-25.2 ohms

B2 is primary 0.64-0.78 ohms
Secondary 14.4-21.6 kil-ohms

Re: no spark need help

only two things it can really be are the ICM and coil. how did you test to see if it was the coil, and WHERE did you buy this new distributor? did you have to use other parts from your old dizzy?

Re: no spark need help

the icm tells the coil to fire if the coil has voltage that dosnt rule out the icm . heres the coil test

lock for connector on top ( sorry cant transfer the pic )

plug from the harness goes a c

b d the connector on the coil will be a mirror image of this

Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between the terminals. Replace the coil if the resistance is not within specifications.
NOTE: Resistance will vary with the coil temperature; specifications are at 68F (20C)

Primary Winding Resistance (Between the A and C terminals): 0.64 - 0.78 Ohm

Secondary Winding Resistance (Between the A and secondary winding terminals): 14.4 - 21.6 kOhm

Check for continuity between the A and B terminals. Replace the coil if there is no continuity.

Re: no spark need help

The block will have the stamp on it to the left of the exhaust manifold.

Re: no spark need help

Are you sure that your problem is no spark?
Could be it isn't getting fuel.
