Climate controll

Hello!

I have searched and looked around on the forum about the 4th gen climate controll, that it's famous for the soldering going to peaces. Now i read the re-soldering guide in the DIY interior forum that Hojemwod wrote (Awesome writen DIY). And I was wondering if i have to re-solder my climate controll or not

Here is a pic of mine, the red circles show what buttons that has background lights on them (sometimes they light up, but mostley the don't) and those with the blue circles have no background light (im not sure if they are supposed to light up or not). And the last thing is if i want the air to blow on my windshield instead of my face i have to shake the wires that goes to the climate controll for it to change.

So in summary 1. are those buttons in the blue circles supposed to light up and 2. does it look like i have to re-solder?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: Climate controll

you can send to Hojemwood or myself for a complete repair (he charges $12) and, if you like, a Light/indicator upgrade to LED's

And you sir officially get a rep point for having one of the best threads I've read in a while. Or more precisely for being the perfect thread maker. Lots of details, good explanation. Nice!

I know, I have just never taken out the radio support thingy. I have had my center console out and the shifter console, just not the part with the radio.
