Icon5 WTF Tranny view port? 93Si

I was tinkering on my lude and saw this \/
wtf tranny view hole cell phone.jpg

I can see gears inside and it is a rubber... stopper I guess, on the transmission (original h23) Is this where you fill it the tranny? I also noticed that the gears have almost no oil on them (thanks to the prior owner who I have SO much to say to...) But what is this rubber thing and what is it's purpose in life?

DON'TTT POURR FLUID IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!1!!1111

that is NOT the tranny fluid fill hole, that's simply a hole that you shoot a timing gun down to check the timing via the flywheel. this has been asked a thousand times before
