a little bit of everything

I have a 92 prelude so the first ? is how do I tell if its si or sr or vtec cause if Im not mistaken the 92 engin doesnt say if its si...... so how else can I tell.... and the other ? I have is Im looking in traiding my prelude for a 2000 civic dx hatch.. an the guy wants to keep his custom 17" motegi rims an he wants me to put them on the prelude but Im not sure if they would fit?? if you have any feedback please let me know......

look at ur engine and see what the block says..if its says F22 u have a S, if its a H23 you have a Si, and if it was a Si VTEC model the engine is a H22...

chassis code on the vin number as well..BB1 is a H22 model

as far as the rims go Civics, integra's have 4x100.. Preludes and Accords are 4x 114

so unless the wheels are universal 4 lugs then they wont fit

Also, 92 USDM Preludes weren't available with the H22, so unless motors were swapped, you have an F22 or H23.

I have anothere ? on my vin # it has a bb2 in it so does that mean its an h23 right?

Yes. Or you can look at the block below the valve cover and see if the stamp says H23.
