some long scrubbing with soapy water and some steel wool sanding some more soapy water cleaning and painted it with krylon fusion paint.......aint the best paint job but its just to get rid of the even worse white consols eventually im going to wrap some leather on the pieces (very classy) the spray paint is just temporary

Re: some "restoration" pics for ya'll

lol i know PZ loves some pics of progress lol and the vents were that way when i bought the car (saturday)not a big deal to me as i only use the a/c 1% of the time that i drive...nothing like the wind blowin on ya while drivin the lude but all will be replaced in due time like i said the paint was just so i could drive it...happily with out the tasteless spray painted white interior im goin to the junkyard as soon as i get new tags and insurance on it ($480 gee i love volusia county) to pick up a new hood some nostril vents and A/C vents (maybe a working temp/fuel gauge too) but lilmsprelude im looking to do something similar to ur prelude restoration thread with the sound proofing interior with the foam and carpet and rewiring i think its pure genius!!!!!!! I admire ur skills with electronics kinda my inspiration or doing this lude the way im doing it. Anyways i plan on posting pics of every bit of progress with this prelude and maybe a few DIY's along the way for those of u planning on doing what im doing...taking an abused prelude and saving it!!! thanks all for the support once again i could not have done it with out the support and motivation from PZ.com
