Problems with my Fuel/Temperature Gauge.

I own a 1992 Honda Prelude S, and about a week ago my fuel/temperature gauges started flickering on and off. I did some research and apparently they burn out, or something like that. I did smell a burning after it went out for good, so I am assuming that this is what happened.

So, my question is, if it did burn out, where can i get a replacement, I've looked on Ebay and all I've found is the Si version.

If i where to get the Si version, would it just plug straight up, and if so, would the ABS light, or any other lights that are not associated with the S model, stay lit?

sorry for the long post, and thanks in advanced to all of the help i get :]

Did you ever find a replacement fuel/temp thing? I just bought a '92 and the person I bought it from failed to tell me that didnt work and I was just so excited I didnt even realize till I had to get gas for my other car. Anyways I need to find one ! I have no idea how to check my fuses or any of that.

Re: Problems with my Fuel/Temperature Gauge.

Under the hood there is a 15 amp fuse that runs the fuel temp gauge.. Just go through all the fuses under the hood one by one.(Take one out, check it, put it back) Then pull the next. If one of them is burned out, replace it.

and vice versa? I found a local deal on a S temp/fuel cluster, but it does not have ABS (or a light) like my Si... will the harness still plug right up??? (my ABS light is always on... prob at least one sensor and maybe pump/ecu... so I don't care about losing the light... I might eliminate ABS anyway... doesn't seem to work quite right and $$$ to fix...)
