Re: 8lb Flyhweel

oe because the stage 1 i heard really isnt great for daily drivers! well i did this when i swapped the motor to h22 and tranny to 5 speed, so i really have not comparison, just going by what bustr told me to get! but you you see o difference in acceleration, compared to the stock flywheel.

i was just mentioning it because if your gonna be changing the flywheel it will be easier to do everything in one shot!

Re: 8lb Flyhweel

Had another question for those who have viewed and can give me some input. As soon as i get this clutch and flywheel im going boost on my f22a1. So im thinking i should go a bit heavier with a 12lb. flywheel for those who have some input on those let me know or if i should stay stocker. Also what flywheels are theere except ACT's 12lb. the only other one I've seen is the chromoly one and i think a F1 Racing one any input on these let me know asap want to get this stuff ordered.

F1 Racing is absolute junk. Don't even think about buying any of their products. I had their Stage 2 clutch and flywheel on my 95 240sx, and lets just say that the OEM clutch with 140k miles did a better job holding all 140RWHP than the new one did.

the act is a much better flywheel its one piece wont warp also the car is actually more drivable with the heavyer flywheel . i had a fidanza on boost and it was trash in a few months . went act and never looked back . also the lighter flywheel makes you have to downshift more often as there is less stored inertia in the lighter flywheel .
