noob w/ '93 needs to remove ignition switch

Hi, I'm new this is my first post. I have a 93 2.3 and it has a bad ignition switch. I bought a new switch and I have pulled my dash apart but there is some plastic cover on the switch itself that is preventing me from removing it. I have a Chilton and it is step 8 and 9 I am lost on. I cant even tell what screw it is referring to. Any help? I <3 pictures.

No sir, the tumbler itself. There are two screws I can see, a large one (covered partially by the plastic and clear cover around the ignition,) and a smaller one that activates the tumbler. What I need to find is the way to remove the plastic cover.

It wouldn't turn over. I just bought the car yesterday and the young lady who had it was... hard on it. I tried to lube it with graphite but it didnt make a difference. However, JohnnyH23, I would have kept staring blankly at the Chilton manual if you hadn't posted that picture of an ignition switch. I was changing the tumbler, not covered by Chilton BTW as I just learned. Now it's all replaced and working like a charm. Wonder what my next project will be? Probably putting the appropriate struts on the car.

Thanks! I hope this helps the next idiot like me who is trying to change his tumbler.

Im not sure but it may show you how on the Prelude service manual. You can find it on this forum through searching or online (google). I think that would help you.
