HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

^^^^ Ignore lame title, thought it might grab attention.

But anyways, if you follow my build thread at all, you would know that i had an incident with my front wheel falling off while driving. No biggie. (hahaha) But it did major damage to the front fender...

So I might take this opportunity now to just do a JDM front on the prelude. Buy the fenders, bumper, and lights. But the only place I can find JDM fenders is pwjdm. So Does anyone else know a place where I can buy these fenders? Or does anyone have these fenders they would be willing to sell. Thanks for the help!!!

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

i have seen them on ebay a number of times for about 100 +shipping for both but most of the time they will need minor repair/touch up and paint.

i checked ebay already for you and didnt find any. passwordjdm has them for like $250 each for the fenders. you should be able to find a jdm nose cut on ebay for pretty cheap or google search it. that will give you the jdm headlights, jdm foglights, jdm front bumper support, and a new front bumper...

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

the only thing diff about the fenders is the side marker, found here:
JDM EK '96-'00 Civic Side Markers with Sockets | Password JDM

$30 vssss 300. hmmmm

or if you want an entire front clip and close to philly, Elite JDM has them in stock usually.

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

Is there any modifacations you need to make to the core support or anything else to make the fenders and bumper fit?

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

a jdm front bumper support is half the size of the usdm front bumper support.. it shaves weight off the front end and imo easier to work with. it still bolts in at the same points as a usdm bumper support so nothing would change.

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

Only if you want one. The JDM front bumper support has the same part number as the JDM support. The front bumper is the same, (minus holes for the side markers, but they are put in after the bumper is moulded), the fenders are the same (minus holes, there's templates on here to cut them).

This is the only time I suggest not getting genuine headlights though - JDM headlights have a RHD beam pattern which not only looks crap for LHD cars it also dazzles oncoming vehicles (the beam is \\__ not __// like USDM )

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

the beam is adjustable...
i have never noticed any difference in the beam of a usdm prelude headlight to a jdm headlight.

either way you could use this time to do a retro fit also and you wouldnt have to worry about it anyways.

Not so adjustable it can get around being designed to light the other side of the road. Seriously, park the two against a wall and check it.

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

i still dont think it is a big enough issue to not purchase or run jdm headlights. if a retrofit is done it will elimate this concern all together.

Re: HELP WIT DA JDM FRONTZZ Y0!

Agreed on that respect. And retro'd jdm lights are the best possible thing you can put on a 4g. However not many people run them. And admittadly the only reasin I think the RHD beam is worth worrying about is having driven in front of one (both with it following and oncoming) it was possibly the second most annoying thing I've ever had to deal with on the road. (Behind people who constantly drive with their foglights on)
