New brakes squealing

Will missing or misplaced crunch washer on brakeline cause brakes to squeal continuously? I already replaced the pads on all 4 brakes and it was checked by Acura for warped rotors. Any ideas?

Bevel the leading edge of the pads slightly with sandpaper. This will usually stop the squealing. If the pads are new, they need to bed in. Until that happens, you will get some squealing.

Did you have the rotors machined at the same time to make them flat again??

PS- don't breathe in the brake dust!!! wear a mask.

Re: New brakes squealing

when you say continuously, do you mean even when the breaks are not being applied as well?

did you put the grease on the back of the pads? did you properly break in the pads? you sure they're properly installed? and yes, it is possible to not install them properly

missing crunch washers will cause the break lines to leak and cause air to enter the lines. but it will not cause it to squeek. just make the pedal feel spongy. warped rotors can cause a squeek. but over time as the pads start to wear. the squeek you get in breaks is caused by the break pad not making complete and even contact with the rotor. and the above mentioned 3 things will cause it. when you don't grease the back of the pads break dust can get in places causing them to seize up slightly and stick causing them to not make even contact. not breaking them in properly causes them to wear unevenly. there are those little nubs on the backs of some of the pads, if they aren't in the places they're supposed to be, they will cause the breaks to wear unevenly causing squeeking.
