Rod Bearings

hey guys ive had my prelude for a while and just recently my rod bearings went out. one was all messed up which was making the noise. replaced it got new set standed size got it back together sounded good till i reved it up the noise came back. after frustration i tore it down again today all were good but one. can i just get one oversized bearing or do i need to get my crank worked on? help

Your crank is probably f-ed. BUT just to be sure....Get a micrometer measure the rod journal diameter. Then measure the rod's big end internal diameter (or just look at the letter number stamped on it) then look up the corresponding bearings.

How bad did the rod journal look? Usually they've ovaled so bad you need a new/used crank

make sure the clearance on the bearings are correct, check it with a plastic gauge

alright well im tryin to price cranks but i cant find any oem cranks. i found after market cranks but at big bucks. i would like to get a perfomance crankbut im realy tight on the money. so if you guys can help me out that would be awsome.
