Re: question on jdm h23 swap

Yes, it will. H/F series motors are extremely straightforward to swap into the 4G chassis. However, since you want to drop in a JDM motor, you might have some problems with emissions parts. I believe the JDM motors lack a few that the USDM motors have...such as the EGR and a few others I'm probably missing.

Re: question on jdm h23 swap

thanx for the hope for the swap.. my lude originally came wit h23a1 complete wit emission parts. can i integrate the emission parts on the jdm h23 engine.. if not im just glad i can push forward on this swap. just need to kno if i can get the jdm h23 to work in my current setup. i heard ill need to extend some wires cause its a right hand version..? is there anything like that in nature i might also run into..? how about the sterring wheel..? as far as smog i'll figure later on how to integrate once the engine starts.. i will also have the original h23 engine for spare parts
