F22B1 Swap Completed!

A friend of mine and I swapped an F22B1 into my prelude over the past week, ran into stupid problems(main relay, fuel pump, etc).. But she runs, and runs great!

Currently, I have a h23 tranny installed with the f22b1.... The only "modification" is a exhaust, haha.

What WAS in my prelude, was a F22A1 from a 90-93 accord, and the stock f22 tranny.

But here is a crap picture... I'll post more if anyone is even interested.

What I still need to do, is
  • get the exhaust welded on(headers were different, this bitch is LOUD)...
  • Get a new mount for the drivers side(see pic, thats why, f22a1 mount dont rly fit, only 1 bolt)
  • Fuel pump!
  • Wire vtec to POA ECU(from an accord)

stupid mount..

Re: F22B1 Swap Completed!

Thanks man. Haha.

I got a new mount.. Makes me feel better, worked out some tiny issues..

Current issue is exhaust likes to fall off still xD and it seems as though its missing sometimes... hmm.. weird.

Re: F22B1 Swap Completed!

isn't that one of the best feelings of accomplishment, swapping in an entire new motor, and after all the months of headaches, hurdles, and hickups, once you start it up the first time, is the best feeling everrr.

Hey Im doing the same thing. I swapped a f20a out for a f22b1 out of a 97 accord. The engine is in the car now Im stumped on the wiring.
What did you do to hook up the electrical? the wiring harnesses are different. Give me as much info as you can because im about to rip the motor back out of the car and go buy another one that wires in.
