Any way to reposition the ebrake?

I have a 92 si and I was wondering like the title states if there was a way you could move the ebrake I was looking to see if i could move it more to the side like some of the older 4th gens are. Im looking to put a s2k center console in to clean it up a bit. Anyone done this before or know anything about this? Just a thought I think it'd be sexy if it can be done!

older 4th gens? you have the oldest 4th gen. there is a difference though in some of the 4th gens. Idk when they changed but they do change sides. you would just have to get the center console out of another 4th gen that you likes and swap them.

Re: Any way to reposition the ebrake?

People have moved the e-brake around in 4th gens before. I would reference a link but honestly I don't feel like searching for you at 8 am. Not to be a dick....

Just do a little bit of searching, its been done, although the details of it I have no clue. yaaay 5th gen.

edit: I only did a small bit of searching, and like I said its been done. If I didnt have to leave for work I would post a couple of links, but some googling and you be able to get it. Just google for prelude center console conversion, or similar.

Re: Any way to reposition the ebrake?

Here is a DIY for how to convert your 92 center console to a 94+, in it there it shows you how to relocate the ebrake. IDK about the s2k console, but I know fersure that this works, because I did it on my car

INT: 4th gen - 94-96 Console Conversion

Hope that helps big man.
