help with 94 accord!

Alright so my girlfriends accord (2.2L vtec auto) just made a big crack noise when leaving her neighborhood (i wasnt with her this is what she said) and then she said she was driving it down the road and it was bumpy felt like she popped her tire. Well i looked at it and the two rear upper control arms are slightly off from each other ill post pics. And the rear right strut boot is now cracked and it wasnt before? So i start it up, the engine is kinda making a bumping, almost a knocking noise but the idle wasnt surging at all and i put it in reverse and it stalled on me? Any suggestions of what it could be? The first picture is of the right, second of the left, looks way off to me?

Re: help with 94 accord!

blown strut maby ? but that wouldn't really explain the engine noise and stalling. But that may be the reason its bumpy.

Re: help with 94 accord!

check all the fuses and wires, make sure all the negatives are nice and tight.
after that if it still stalls get to advanced or autozone and borrow a computer to check for engine codes, just because the light isn't on it doesn't mean it couldn't be throwing a CEL, u may not even have a bulb in the check engine light

also a little bit more info please. is it a f22 h22? what year?

Re: help with 94 accord!

Re: help with 94 accord!

my accord did the same thing and if its 2.2 vtec auto im assuming its the f22b1 motor. my tranny went out on me about a month after stalling when i put it in reverse idk why or what caused it im not good with trannys but as far as the engine get the codes checked asap and post them on here we should be able to help alot more with some more info. when my car stalled i changed the fuel pump and filter and that solved my issue(I suggest you check them as well) till the car eventually blew the head gasket(231000 miles) and i gave it up for my first lude it stalled a few other times(months later)but i assumed it was cuz the trans was dying. check the trans fluid see if any is there and then check to see if its burnt or very dirty. auto trans can cause lots of problems thats what my previous post was ment to imply

Re: help with 94 accord!

Alright guys appreciate it, haha and thanks for noticing the obvious naj. But took it to the guy that works on my lude and they looked at it bc it almost bogs when you drive but found out it needs a new shock bushing and control bushing so the tire moves a little. also it needs a new front right axle and oil pressure sending unit yippeeee. I told her IMO to just sell the damn thing because its having tranny problems and all sorts of goodies. I want her to get a stick but noo i dont wanna drive a stickkk (ugh)
