Re: Wire Tuck ....Fire

lol.... current = heat....

coiled wire = induction = possible...

Depends on how you tucked them I 'spose... but, if it's gonna burn, tucked or not.... you arent gonna stop it.

Is it a good idea? ... again, depends how well you did it. Did you just move and cram n jam? or did you lengthen wires and move harness'?

Re: Wire Tuck ....Fire

I did lengthen the one that needed it and packed them as evenly as possible. Maybe a quick release terminal would be a good idea? im doin it it just makes sense. I would hate to see it burn

Re: Wire Tuck ....Fire

I for one wouldn't be worried about a fire, not from that. But you could grab a fire extinguisher if you really felt the need. Or you could hit up ChaseBays or Rywire and see if they would start making Tucked Harnesses for the H series motors. Cause I would totally be game for that :) Bwahahaha.

Re: Wire Tuck ....Fire

Hey guys I'm new here an I been looking everywhere on how to do a wire tuck on a 4th gen Lude an I'm finding nothing. Does anyone have any insight an possible pictures on how to do this? It be greatly appreciated. I own an operate a car audio business so I'm not new to wiring, I'm just not sure if I'm suppose to cut an lengthen them, or move em or what. The biggest thing I'd like to get out the way is the abs crap. So anything on that would be a big bonus too. Thanks guys.
