Could this be an electrical problem...

ok so about 3 days ago my car would not start in the morning. i had no idea what it could be. I tried a couple of hours later and i heard this cracking and rattling noice comming under the dashboard. its a red little box and it says"MITSUBA INTER LOCKK CONTROL" but what i also notice was that the speedometer would move while the car was not even moving.. well what i did was that i removed the ecu fuses from the fuse box and then tried and the car did work but a few minutes later the car turned of and i dont know whats the problem.. today i tried again but now my battery is dead.. could this be something electrical .. any ideas..?

Re: Could this be an electrical problem...

probably since all those components you mentioned are electrically controlled.

well i know your main relay is underneath your dashboard.. does your fuel pump come on? and also wouldnt it be impossible for the car to run with the ecu un-plugged...
