need some help in tranny fluid

Whats the best tranny fluid for my 95 h22 jdm lsd tranny. I heard I can use 5w30, redline, gm scyncromesh, penisoil scromesh how ever u spell those two, Honda mtf, 10w30 or 40 and others. I used 5w30 full syntic n drove atleast 2000 miles n I just found out u can't run full syntic but it runs fine when normal driving but when u take it 3200 or higher n shift to 3rd it grinds higher u go louder n harder it gets but it happens just in 3rd other gears r fine high or low rpm But few people said 5w30 ain't good n some says redline is good n very few bout gm but pennsoil seems pretty good but heard if I use scyncromesh it can mess up my syrncos or gear or something like that but some says I can't use Honda mtf cuz my tranny year is older n can't use it but others say I can. So is Pennzoil the best way to go if so what kind. Or whats yall other Lude lover opinion cuz I'm lost anybody help I need to noe SOON going on a 700 mile trip this friday. But will Pennzoil scyncromesh work best cuz I'm thinking bout using that to c if it fixes my grinding in third b4 its to late late what do yall think.

Re: need some help in tranny fluid

I'm pretty sure I'm running 10w30 and I've had no problems, and I've had the car for about 3 years...and it's been driven pretty hard a few times.

gm synchromesh and pennzoil synchromesh is the same part #. i've just change my transmission fluid using pennzoil synchromesh. it works great, stop my 3rd and 5th gear grind.

Re: need some help in tranny fluid

idk the part number but i know pennz makes gm synchromesh.

it will work for your lsd tranny. someone tested different tranny fluid on there lsd and said gm synchromesh works the best.

remember pennz synch and gm synch are the same, the difference of the two is the price, gm synch cost more the pennz synch.

Re: need some help in tranny fluid

Aight thanks u all but I think Imma go with Pennzoil plus the shifting starting to feel a little rough mostly 2nd. Oh one more thing what's the torque specs for the pressure plate for h22a, flywheel is 87. Putting a new competition clutch in.
