for the ac, it just needs to be recharged, and i have no clue about the starting issue, but it happens to me too. it can't hurt to check it out. What to look for when buying a used car, how to check a used car prior purchase - illustrated guide.

Re: thinking of buying this

hmmmm....he dropped 1000 off of there pretty easy...but you just might be that get of on a good deal because i barely saw stock 4th gens selling for at least $1000 but you test drive it and let it run for a while...hopefully you dont get stuck with bunch of other problems h22a's are hard to take care of...especially when you just cant walk in advance auto and get a part for that motor :(

i had that starting issue....tested my alternator and they said the voltage was a little low but ever since i tested it, it hasnt failed me since so I didnt even bother to change it...but who knows....

goodluck tomarrow!!!

Re: thinking of buying this

your looking for a dependable car i would tell you not to get this car. seems like a POS for that price and it has problems starting you never know what that could be. might be something simple like main relay but you never know. 4th gens can be a pain in the ass some times. it has a JDM motor you have no idea who did the engine swap and if they did it right. you should try to find a stock car thats your best bet for a dependable ride

I agree with these guys.

That and I have a weird feelin whilst reading his cl post and this thread...something just seems off. Can't put my finger on it though. Seems to me like he's trying to dump it on someone quick....maybe thats just me though.

Long story short, I would stay away. Or at least be VERY thorough when test driving and inspecting.
