NEED ANSWER FASTT!!!

soo like i said, i really really need this answer fast

my oil pan for my turbo needs a new gasket
the oil pan is for a 98 h22a4 2.2

they have no gaskets in any store here!

i found a gasket for the oilpan @ napa for a 1996 h22a 2.2 vtec

will it fit??
i was thinking it would fit, because its basically the same engine, just different internals.
they dont make a gasket for the h22a4 because they used the silicone solution.

http://www.preludeonline.com/f60/re-...it-5th-240352/ i found this,
does this mean the gasket would work also?

Yeah it'll fit...and for future reference, the F22/H23/H22 oil pans/gaskets are interchangeable.

I'm a smartass and sarcastic but that's only when I have the right to be and at the moment I don't have enough knowledge with everything that has to do with my car to be that way and I appreciate the knowledge given to me on here...now once I know more or know people better than I might bust out with some but it'll be in a joking manner

Re: NEED ANSWER FASTT!!!

the H22A4 has an aluminum oil pan which uses the ultra flange for a gasket.

Re: NEED ANSWER FASTT!!!

u basically remove the bolts and gently pry it off.

the gasket and normal silicone will leak if u use them to re seal the pan

Re: NEED ANSWER FASTT!!!

use a flat head screw driver and a hammer lol

tap the flat head between the pan and bottom of the block pry gently

do that in a few spots and it should come off with a bit more prying
