H22a should I buy

a gentleman has a h22a with tranny, tranny linkage, dizzy, billet fuel rail, 40 lb injectors, intake mani and throttle body for sale. the deal is it was hot rodded and there is a whole in the block. a rod got thrown in cylinder 3. My question is, is this engine worth the money? I imagine the vtec head is worth more that 150. the injectors could sell for 15 each. what do you guys think, im a integra guy, not a prelude dude.

Buy it. You can part it out and make some dough.

Re: H22a should I buy

Word. or source a cheap F22/F23 block and throw the H22 head on, but it takes some work.

Re: H22a should I buy

F22/F23 blocks can be crazy cheap. As far as parting the motor out and making money, I'm not gonna sit here and figure out exactly how much money you can make... but it will be worth your time. You can prolly get all your money back just from selling the head.
