H23A1 ??

Okay I don't know what to do with my h23a1 motor.. The valves are bent and the car wont turn on.. the motor only has 198k miles on it. What should i do?? Buy a head or complete motor???

pull the head, bring it to a shop that will replace the valves, resurface the head's mating surface with the block, re-install with new timing belt and water pump.....big job (have done it) but you'll be back on the road for $800(ish)

If you can find a good head locally they usually just go between $100 - $200.

Yes of course, sourcing a known good head will get you rolling again...good point...check this option first.
