ABS Pump Motor Over-Run

2 years ago on my 94 Prelude Si a honda dealer pulled a code saying left front wheel sensor bad. I purchased one on ebay two weeks ago, replaced, but abs light still on after driving about 100 yards. I pulled the abs code (learned from reading this site) and received a 1, ABS Pump Motor Over-Run. I assume the left front was fixed but then this new problem appears. So I will try to do the simple things first (I am a junior mechanic at best) such as to unconnect and reconnect all switches in sight around the Modulator/Accumulator, fluid levels, and check for any leaks. Regarding bleeding the abs system, can someone advise on where the bleed valve is located and how I create the pressure to then bleed? And any other simple things that I might check? Thanks.

Re: ABS Pump Motor Over-Run

I had the same code after my car sat for about 4 months. After I drove it around the block a few times, the code disappeared. Have you driven it at all since that code was thrown?

Re: ABS Pump Motor Over-Run

I have driven the car about 2 days. In another thread someone mentioned to go thru about 120 key cycles before the ECU can clear and thus clear the ABS light. I would guess that he means turning the car on then off about 120 times.

Re: ABS Pump Motor Over-Run

I'm looking to test the abs pump on my 94 si. I've read to pull the abs relay and then bridge two of the slots with a wire. I am unsure on which two slots to bridge. The relay socket has two slots towards the rear of the car for the two small prongs on the relay and two slots towards the front of the car for the two large prongs on the relay. Again, does someone know which two slots to bridge with a wire?

My '94 Integra also had the same code. This car sat for about a year. It went away after I replaced the brake fluid and drove around for a while (won't reset until you turn the car off and on again)

Re: ABS Pump Motor Over-Run

Can someone tell me where the ABS bleed valve is on a '94' Prelude? Does it look like a bleed valve you would see on each of the wheels? I've read about looking for a red cap but cannot see on. Please advise. Thanks.
