Autotragic Transmission issues

Alrighty so Earlier I was backing out of my driveway to leave my house, I get out of my driveway and put the car into drive. Right when I did that the car sort of jumped and the light that tells you what gear your in starts flashing. So I pulled over and turned the car off and it wouldn't start back up. After a while it started and I didn't have the same issue. Idk what's up. Anyone have any input?

okay buddy , also you need to read the codes its saying some thing ,did you try moving the shifter up and down ,in neutral ,it could be the car was still cold or a sign of some thing like a bad crank sensor ,or safety neutral switch going bad.

I've also had this problem bringing the car home after buying it. Only mine was after driving it 15 or 20 minutes. I know there's a code for how many times it blinks but I haven't looked in the manual yet.

Re: Autotragic Transmission issues

I'll have to check for a code. But the only thing that happened was the blinking light and the fact that it wouldn't go.

Re: Autotragic Transmission issues

unclip solonoid(upper and lower) terminals and spray with WD40, as well as reset ecu, unplug it and plug it back in, and disconnect negative battery terminal for a minute or two. See if this helps. Sometimes it is something really easy.

Re: Autotragic Transmission issues

Yea when that light starts blinking it is indicating a code for the tranny.

Re: Autotragic Transmission issues

I didn't realize that until I started reading some of the manual. I've said it before I'll say it again manual=life saver for me...counting the blinks is a pain in the a$$ though
