Re: prop rod

DeadLeprechaun's right. I got mine from a junk yard because my Lude has nothing when I bought it. I used a ski pole and it did the job, tho. But, my problem (not too much) about the prop rod I got is it keeps on popping out of the hole bc there's no more white plastic thing to keep it in place. But, once the end is tucked in under the hood the proximal end stays, but it's scratching the paint off of the body around the pivot hole:( (DARNet!!!)

Nah, that's not what I meant. The base of mine is fine, so it props the hood fine, the problem is when you want to close the hood, there is no clip for the other end of the prop, so it just lays somewhere between the radiator and battery.

Re: prop rod

I see... a trip to the junk yard will surely solve your problem as it did with mine and everybody else. Ninety percent of the time you won't see the prop rod, but the plastic clip on the distal end that holds the prop rod securely when the hood is closed is still left for you:D Good luck!
