Front lip

If this is misplaced I apologize...

I was on yesterday read the DYI section for redoing my front lip and sides. Once I took them off I noticed a few deep gashes in the front lip (quarter inch +). What I'm wondering is if there is some sort of filler I can use to fix this? I haven't looked into prices for new all the way around and I'm not so sure I'd want to buy new right now with so many other things needing to be done first. Any suggestions? Thanks and sorry again if I posted this in the wrong section.

Re: Front lip

I have some curb rash/scratches on mine, too! But, I just sanded them out with a 220grit and sprayed them with bed liner paint. It looks cool now. It's flat black and scratch resistant. I ended up spraying the skirts and mud flaps too! Doesn't look bad, tho. Regarding the "filler" for the deep gash you can try a silicone adhesive and sealer (sandable ones) and then paint it with a bed liner rattle can. It gives that texture close to the OEM. It is by DupliColor = $7.99+tax at HarborFreight. Good Luck!

Re: Front lip

You could plastic weld it with a lighter and zip ties.
