small jerking while accelerating!

so the other day i bought a 94' honda accord with a 96' h22 swap, the friend i bought it from said i needed to change the crankshaft position sensor because the car had trouble starting up in the heat, on the way home there was "jerking" going on while i was driving so i assume it was the position sensor. So i bought the part and took it to a mechanic, he said that the engine didnt have the a crankshaft position sensor "wtf" then found out it was the fuel pump relay. I change that and it started up fine. but now when i am driving the jerking continue but its less this time.. im getting the oil change today, thinking that could help it.. but if not ima be clueless of the jerking....

any help or suggestion on what it could be??
and how to fix it

Re: small jerking while accelerating!

^if that doesn't fix it, maybe troubleshoot the throttle position sensor with a multimeter. spec is .5v closed with a smooth increase to 4.5v @ wot. if it's out of spec, you can adjust it, but if it dips anywhere in between it's bad and needs to be replaced.

Re: small jerking while accelerating!

It's on the throttle body, I think it's on the opposite side of the throttle cable.

Re: small jerking while accelerating!

hey bro the 22 a h22a1 witch are obd-1- 96 down do have a crank sensor ,it's in the distributor ,the obd-2-a4 have the crank sensor on the engine oil pump, and they come from 97-and up ,you should check what the above guys said along with checking fuel regulator and the resister box witch should be located on the left side if your standing in front of car its connects to your distributor from the rear wire harness .
