Icon5 Radiator Fan Problem

I'm a new Prelude owner (95) and have much to learn. I ordered a Helm's manual but not received it yet so I need some advice.

My problem; the fan on the passenger side of the radiator makes noise and I was planning on ordering a new one online, I've never seen the fan on the drivers side of the radiator turn on. Should both these fans turn on at the same time thus do I need to order both? Are both fan's for cooling the radiator is one for the AC?

Please excuse my ignorance.

Thanks!
TJ

Re: Radiator Fan Problem

the fan on the drivers side is only for the AC, so it should only come on w/ the AC. the pass side fan is for the radiator tho.

you just got me thinking of a crazy idea now, sweeet!!!!

Re: Radiator Fan Problem

Cool, thanks for the info.... so if I have the vehicle at idle with the A/C on, will the A/C fan always be on or is there a thermostat? I have never seen the A/C fan on and thinking something's up.
