Swapping from manual door locks to auto.

Whats up guys. I aquired a 93 SI shell and was wondering if its possible to swap the power door locks into my S. If so, what all would I have to swap over? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Swapping from manual door locks to auto.

Well, I've been told it's a pain in the ass but 1000 people. But I beg to differ!

I was going to be trying this, but I couldn't get the stock lock actuaters out of my friends lude... I will attempt again, and then I was gonna trace back all the wires and just -unplug- the lock stuff, and -plug- it into my prelude. However, I do have the stock lock switches atleast! so that makes me feel better. I will let you know, I want to try to get all that **** out of that prelude ONE more time before we scrap the shell. (wrecked).

But in theory I guess if you unplugged and unbolted everything from a shell, and put it into yours accordingly(adding your fuses and such) should be fine.. but!! I could be wrong!!

Yeah I was thinking that I might have to swap the entire interior wiring harness into mine. But the shell also has ABS and mine doesnt. Would I have to swap that as well? Ill start messing around with it this weekend so if I get anywhere ill let you know. Thanks for the input
