clutch opinion help

hey guys i cant find the answer im looking for so id appreciate anyones opion.
Im getting an engine swap done right now and decided to replace the flywheel and clutch.
I bought a fidanza 8.5lb flywheel and now im having a hard time choosing the right clutch for me.
my car is a daily driver, never tracked or raced, basically im a college student and cant afford to have things get messed up with my car so i take care of it with how i drive. I do get on it from time to time, dont get me wrong, but im more concerned with making the engine, tranny, clutch all that stuff last as long as possible.
Anyway what clutch would you recommend i get. I hear mixed things about ACT, centerforce and exedy. or stick with the oem clutch? any help would be appreciated.
thank you

Re: clutch opinion help

Exedy makes the OEM clutches for our cars, so you know they're pretty good.

If you shop around on E-Bay there's some reputable sellers that usually have an Exedy OEM/Stage 1 for reaaally cheap, like less than $200.

Re: clutch opinion help

True story exedy makes stage 1 clutch it is slightly different than stock, it has dual springs instead of single and has some different material for the clutch disk that grips a little harder but other than that you will notice no difference in the pedal. it won't hurt your foot from stiff pedal or anything and it works great. thats what i have in my car now and i love it. Since you are not racing or building it then you really don't need anything more than stock.
