I have heard that the oem when polished has great flow and dont even think about skunk 2 i have heard nothing good about them

Port matching would be the best option. Polishing the intake side is a bad idea, it has bumps for a reason, it helps atomize the fuel coming into the engine due to increased turbulence. Even NASCAR intake mani's are not polished. You can port match and polish the exhaust side. Increasing the size of the manifold might make you lose power, that is why you need a flow bench.
A bigger throttle body might help if you have cams or some other kind of internal mods, but if you are stock internals, I would say leave it alone.
